So my roommate is korean..the cutest lil thing ever...and tonight she cooked and we ate seaweed for dinner. This is a new concept for me. But...apparently in Asian culture this is the traditional food for a persons birthday meal. On your birthday you get up in the morn and eat seaweed. Mothers also eat it alot when they are pregnant and after giving birth because its so healthy for you. Not sure why Im blogging this...but it seemed so random that I had too. O the things you learn when you are studying abroad.
"The seaweed is always greener, in somebody else's lake. You dream about going up there, Ah, but that is a big mistake!" ~The Little Mermaid
