When sick in Austria...don't go to the hospital urgent care. Or what is supposed to be their urgent care. All I needed was a zpack and some eye drops..and it took me 5 hours. In those 5 hours..I had an EKG ran, chest -rays, and my blood drawn. Luckily, due to the social system in Austria all of my tests that were ran were free. And now I guess I do know for sure that my heart and lungs are both in good condition, not that I thought otherwise. I ended up getting the zpack..after I walked around for 30 minutes trying to find a pharmacy. Note to anycome coming to Austria..pharmacies are labeled with a big "A". I say all of this to say..its not fun being sick this far from home. What's a person to do without their mom, tv, sprite, and chicken noodle soup when sick?
